The Olympic Dream
An immersive space designed to provide the opportunity to experience the skills shown during the Olympic Games. This is an inclusive gym that will support your biggest dreams whether that be doing a flip 12 feet in the air, getting a slam dunk on the basketball court, or doing a double wolf turn on the balance beam.
Through supportive equipment such as harness systems, foam pits, and spotting gear, you can truly feel the rush that comes with accomplishing some of sports’ most impressive feats. Each guest who joins the Olympic Dream will be led by an experienced coach who can guide them through the sport in a safe and supportive manner.

Inspiration
This project began with the idea to create a space for adults that elicits childlike joy and excitement without the burden of the world.
I researched nostalgia, childhood, and excitement which led me to the idea of childhood dreams and how they can get lost as people grow up.
The common theme of many childhood dreams is being the best at a given thing. This concept pushed me in the direction of the Olympic Games and the public's perception and reaction to those games, specifically their desire to get involved in them.
Concept Development
I was inspired by a tweet I had seen during the 2024 Paris Olympics that proposed the idea of an Olympics with entirely untrained athletes. Many people over the course of the games were intrigued by the different skills shown off during the Olympics and even tried their own hand at them.
The biggest barrier for this was space. People were trying these sports in their homes which can lead to accidents and injury.
But what if there was a space where people could go to try these sports?
Medaling
After completing your session, you will receive a medal from your coach as a souvenir from the experience. The number of skills you were able to demonstrate will determine what medal you get.
If you are able to successfully do one Olympic skill, you earn a bronze medal, two skills earns you a silver, and three or more earns you a gold medal.
Guests will have the opportunity to develop their skills over a span of visits so that they can eventually earn a gold medal.
Podium Experience
In order to get the complete Olympic Experience, upon entry, you will have the opportunity to select a country to represent during your session.
After receiving your medal, your group can get the full podium experience, including a commemorative photo with each of your countries’ flags displayed on the podium.
Business Model
In order to get the most out of your visit to the Olympic Dream, you will have the opportunity to personalize your plan.
First, you will choose between either a single sport pass or a multi sport pass. Then, depending on your level of commitment to the sport, you can choose to get a one-time ticket or sign up for a membership so you can return and continue to develop your skills.
Finally, you will choose your preferred method of learning. The first option for this includes a group session where you are put together with other guests and a coach to learn new skills as a group.
The second option is for a single guest or a small group to have a private session with a coach so you can get individual help.
Finally, for the more competitive guests, you can join a league for certain sports. These leagues would run on a weekly basis and would provide an opportunity to compete against other guests in a tournament style play.
